Griddled Meat Sandwich

Ingredients: 

  • 6 oz. ground beef
  • 3 slices of cheese (your choice)
  • 1 hamburger bun
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • toppings and condiments (optional)


Preparation:

  1. Form 2 ounces of meat into a small circle puck, three times and season top side with salt and pepper
  2. Heat skillet to high heat
  3. Butter bun and add to pan when hot, toast buns and set to side
  4. Add first meat puck to skillet, let cook on first side for 1 minute
  5. Flip puck over and smash with spatula, season this side and cook for 1 minute
  6. Flip and top with cheese, cook for another minute and transfer to paper towel to drain oil/grease
  7. Repeat until done and assemble
