Baked Tortellini
Cast-Iron Baked Tortellini

Serves: 4 to 6
Ingredients:
- 20 oz cheese tortellini (substitute if needed)
- 1/2 lb. ground beef (sub if needed)
- 2 cups homemade pasta sauce (see recipe "Sunday Sauce")
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- fresh parsley
- salt and pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven 375 degrees F
- Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain
- Cook ground meat til browned. Drain
- Add a layer of sauce to bottom of cast-iron skillet
- Add pasta to skillet in one single layer
- Top with more sauce
- Dollop ricotta cheese throughout the mixture
- Top with meat and remaining sauce
- Stir gently to combine
- Top with mozzarella cheese, Parmesan and parsley
- Bake until the sauce is bubbly and cheese is melted and browned, 30-40 mins
